GigLad uses a variety of Nigerian and African payment processors to allow clients to pay gigs/hire freelancers. Some of the payment processors we use include:

  • Flutterwave
  • Paystack

To make a payment on GigLad, you will need to create an account and add a payment method. Once you have added a payment method, you can start paying for gigs as a client.

When you send a payment on GigLad, the payment processor will charge a small fee. The fee varies depending on the payment processor and the amount of money being sent.

GigLad also charges a commission on all payments made on the platform. The commission rate varies depending on the category of work.

  1. When a client hires a freelancer for a project, the client pays GigLad the agreed-upon fee.
  2. GigLad holds the fee in escrow until the project is completed and the client is satisfied with the work.
  3. Once the client is satisfied with the work, GigLad releases the fee to the freelancer.
  4. GigLad charges a commission on all payments made on the platform. The commission rate varies depending on the category of work.
